~Small edible sculptures that are a comment on our disconnection with mass produced food.

In 2015 I got a temporary job in a shortbread factory. I was a bit embarrassed so I told folk I was doing a residency there as a joke. "I'm making small edible sculptures that are a comment on our disconnection with mass produced food". Funny how that sounds legit eh?

Through working there though, I began to consider a lot of things to do with replication and authorship, as well as the scale of the production and the impact of that. In the end I decided to make these monuments to that experience, making a sculpture of a shortbread from the shortbread that started out as a sculpture.
